Yuriy Marmeladov is an adventure photographer from Kyiv, Ukraine. Throughout his entire life, the artist has been dedicated to exploring street culture and the underground aspects of city life. Rooftopping, urban exploring, train hopping, and graffiti are among the subjects he captures through his lens on a global scale. Currently, Marmeladov is committed to supporting his country and discovering new perspectives.
Children of the capital offers an intimate and exclusive insight into Kyiv's urban exploration community. Between 2016 and 2022 Marmeladov a well-known Kyiv photographer, documented the
subculture from his own personal perspective.
His pictures and texts cover topics related to rooftops, bridges, metro, trains, abandoned places and graffiti.
